Sin-Jun is a lesbian! I have nothing against gay people, but I did not see that coming! She's been sleeping with Clara, her roommate. I still cannot believe it. Sin-Jun is so delicate and Clara is characterized as plump and bull-like. Well, well, well.... Lee just received wayyy to much information. When Lee goes to visit Sin-Jun in the infirmary, she finds her and Clara...uhh... I'll let you fill in the blanks.
Lee leaves immediately and receives a letter from Sin-Jun later asking her to keep her knowledge a secret. It is later revealed that guilt may have been a contributing factor to Sin-Jun's suicide attempt. She tells Lee that she never believed that Clara was gay, but remained in the relationship with her. She felt as though she was forcing Clara and felt deeply guilty and wrong about the situation. I don't know who to pity. Sin-Jun for her loneliness and manipulation or Clara because she was used yet remained in a relationship simply for the sex.
What can I say? People are crazy.
